Product Return and Repair Policies and Procedures

 

Return Policy/Procedure

  1. Return any product purchased directly from Marpac, in new/unused condition and in its original packaging within 30 days from the invoice date. Product purchased from Marpac dealers should be returned to the dealer, not to Marpac.
  2. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
  3. Include a brief note indicating the reason for return and be certain to include important information such as the Invoice No. and your name and address. Also include instructions on the action you would like us to take: replace, exchange, or credit/refund (charge card purchases will receive credit to your account, cash/check payments will receive a refund by check).
  4. Return product prepaid (UPS or Insured US Postal Service) to:

Repair Policy/Procedure

It is the policy of Marpac Corporation to handle all requested repairs in a prompt and efficient manner so that you, our customer, will not be without your product for a prolonged period of time.

When returning an item to Marpac Corporation for repair, it is important that you package the item well to protect it from damage during transit. Be certain to include your name and return address inside the package along with a brief note describing the problem you have experienced with the product. If the item being returned for repair is out of warranty and repair charges apply (see below), you will save considerable time by including your repair payment with the item. Otherwise, you will be notified of the appropriate charges and repair work will begin after payment is received.

In very rare instances, we receive product that is beyond repair or is not cost effective to repair. If, in our judgement, we find your sound conditioner to be beyond repair, we will refund any payment submitted and will give you the option to have the unit returned to you or discarded.

(Sound Conditioners and Poolkeeper)

Safety Lite products are not covered by this warranty

 
Marpac Corporation warrants its products (with exceptions as indicated), to the original purchaser, to be free of defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This limited warranty covers all parts against defects or breakage in normal intended use. The warranty does not cover any damage caused by accidental dropping, rough handling, or misuse of the product. Altering or tampering with the Serial Number will also void this warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
